RESERVE STUDY CREDENTIALS

Boards should ask prospective companies (i) are they credentialed? and (ii) how long have they been performing studies?

The Community Associations Institute (CAI) issues a "Reserve Specialist" credential to qualified companies. There is a similar credential called the "Professional Reserve Analyst" administered by the Association of Professional Reserve Analysts.

For a list of companies that specialize in reserve studies for community associations, see our Service Directory.
