MANAGER'S REPORT

QUESTION: Do owners have the right to review copies of the manager's report?

ANSWER: Yes. It is common for managers to deliver management reports to the board at board meetings. Such reports typically cover the status of various projects throughout the development, repairs to the common areas for the month, a list of needed repairs, etc. If the report is in writing, the membership has a right to see and copy the report.

However, if the report contains information related to personnel matters, owner correspondence to the board, delinquent accounts, etc., such information may be redacted from the report and removed as exhibits.
