DUTIES OF THE PRESIDENT
Corp. Code §7213(a)

Unless the governing documents provide otherwise, a president's duties are as follows:

  • presides over board and membership meetings
  • serves as liaison between management and the board
  • serves as liaison between the association's attorney and the board
  • serves as general manager and oversee day to day matters, such as meeting with vendors, soliciting bids, etc.
  • usually co-signs checks with the treasurer or secretary
