REMOVING DISCRIMINATORY PROVISIONS

If CC&Rs contain restrictions based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, ancestry, familial status, source of income, or disability, boards have both the authority and the obligation to amend the CC&Rs to remove such restrictions. Boards must restate the governing document without the restrictive covenant. Civil Code §1352.5
