ADRIAN J. ADAMS
Adrian Adams is founder and managing
director of Adams Kessler. With an
extensive background in the
community association industry,
Adrian is one of the leading
community association attorneys in
California with a practice that
includes highrise condominiums,
stock cooperatives, business parks,
and large-scale lake associations,
golfing communities, equestrian
associations, and ocean-front
communities.
Adrian served as
an instructor
on "Association Management & Law"
for 10 years at UCLA Extension and has been a
panelist in continuing education programs for
other attorneys. He is also a legal advisor on condominium law and smoke-free housing issues
to the Technical Assistance Legal Center, a
project of the Public Health Institute.
Adrian serves as an
expert
witness
on standards of care involving association boards and managers. He publishes a
bi-annual
salary survey
of managers throughout the state, and a weekly
blog with analysis and commentary
on legal trends in the industry. In addition,
Adrian created and manages the
Davis-Stirling.com website, an
award
winning resource for the
community association industry.
Following a
four-year stint in the U.S.
Marine Corps, where he specialized in
aviation electronics on
F-4
Phantom, Adrian earned a Bachelor of Arts, with Great Distinction,
in Psychology with minors in Chemistry and
Biology. He was a
four-time University Scholar and a member of
the Phi Eta
Sigma Academic Society, Psi Chi Academic
Society, and the Phi Delta Phi Academic Society.
Adrian went
on to earn a Masters in
Business Administration from the
University of
California at Los Angeles.
Following the MBA program, Adrian earned a Juris
Doctorate from Southwestern University
School of Law.
